Texsolv Heddles

Texsolv polyester string heddles are gentle on your warp. They come in a continuous chain of 100 heddles. Excellent for finer threads as they cause less friction, texsolv are also very quiet.

Measuring for the correct length of heddle:

Measure your heddle bars from the top of the top bar to the bottom of the bottom bar. You'll want to purchase the size that is just slightly longer than the measurement between bars (about a quarter to a half inch). For the most accurate measurement use millimeters, the inch measurements listed are approximate since texsolv are manufactured in mm. 

Depending on the thickness of the heddle bar itself you may need to account for a little extra length. Most heddle measurements assume not a lot of extra length will be taken up by the thickness of the bar since the standard thin metal bars are only about 1/8" thick. 

Note that some looms are designed for the harnesses to raise and lower based somewhat on the weight of the heddles, so changing from metal to texsolv may effect your shed.

Do not cut them apart until you have them on the shafts and you're sure they fit! Cut heddles cannot be returned or exchanged.
