Warp rep spaces the warp ends closely to cover the weft, hiding it except at the selvedge turns. Like one of its cousins, log cabin, its design possibilities rely on colors alternating in the warp. Heavy and fine weft rows alternate to accent the colors on one of the two plain-weave sheds. Warp rep is threaded on pairs of shafts, each pair weaves plain weave.
