Lamb's Pride Worsted Yarn description:
A favorite of both crocheters and knitters, Lamb's Pride Worsted is also wonderful for projects that you want to felt! Weavers delight in its use as weft for jackets, blankets, throws, and Navajo style weaving. So soft, you can even wear it next to your skin. The slight halo from the mohair is emphasized by the single ply spin, making items look and feel extra lofty and warm. Lamb's Pride Worsted is very affordable, especially with good yardage and such a luxurious feel.
You know the good ole standard answer for kids when the teacher asks what happened to their homework? The dog ate it!
Well that happened with my weaving!!! We came home one evening to find that the dog had eaten and/or chewed the bottom half of a small cone of linen thread. This was my weft thread and I was almost out and ready to reload my shuttle.
We never found the cardboard pieces from the cone, but the thread was in a massive mess on the floor. The pieces ranged in size from 1 inch to about 18 inches long. Totally unusable for weaving. If it hadn't been so funny, I would have cried.
So I ordered another cone, hoping that the color would match. The replacement thread arrived a couple of days later and appears to be the correct color.
Can I just say again, I LOVE HALCYON YARD!!!!
