Aran/worsted weight sweaters for the whole family!
For over 35 years, our unique Aran weight 2-ply yarn has provided us with warm, cozy sweaters that still look good after years of wear. The tight, pearly twist of Norumbega Yarn (previously known as Botanica) makes it impervious to pilling, and this Maine-made yarn is an excellent choice for hard-wearing sweaters and cold weather accessories.

The Lobster Roll Pullover is a simple striped crew neck with drop shoulders. This pullover is knit in the round from the bottom up, then divided at the armholes. Front and back are worked separately to the shoulders, which are then joined using Kitchener stitch before picking up around the armholes and working each sleeve in the round to finish.
Sizes: Children’s size 2 (4, 6, 8, 10, 12)
Chest circumference: 25.5 (27.5, 30, 32, 34, 35.5)”
Gauge: 17.5 sts and 24 rows to 4″ in St st using size US 8 needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Yarn: Norumbega Yarn (160 yards / skein)

The Rangeley Cardigan uses easy garter rib, which incorporates slipped stitches for an effortlessly tailored-looking finish. This open cardigan is worked in one piece back and forth from the bottom up. After binding off for the underarms, the fronts and back are finished separately. The sleeves are then picked up and worked flat from the top down.

The Lubec Pullover is a simple, sturdy drop shoulder crew neck men’s sweater that features an all-over classic Lice Stitch colorwork pattern. Knit back and forth in pieces, then seamed.

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows to 4″ in Lice Stitch pattern on size US 9 knitting needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
