Whether you live around the corner, or across the country, we’re glad you’re part of the Halcyon Yarn community! If you’re thinking of visiting Halcyon Yarn, why not take a class? Our early winter classes are posted online, and more are added regularly. We offer classes in weaving, knitting, felting, spinning, rug hooking, dyeing and more! Maine is a beautiful place, and we’d love to see you in person. Some new offerings include Barbara Burns teaching Tapestry weaving in January, and in April, we’ll be hosting two days of knitting classes with Ann Budd.

Speaking of sharing… the holidays are fast approaching!
We’re having fun planning our winter projects and gifts, and looking forward to sharing good times with our friends, family, and the whole Halcyon Yarn community.
We’ll be open on Sundays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we’ll be closing a little early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. You’ll also notice we are closed on “Black Friday” this year, we feel strongly about giving our wonderful staff the opportunity to spend a little extra time with loved ones. If you are eager to shop with us that day you may do so online or leave a telephone message. There will be great deals online, and orders will still ship as usual the following Monday.
