Black Welsh Top Wool Fiber

Black Welsh is remarkable for its all black fleece. The wool fiber is coarse to medium with moderate luster and good loft. Because the fleece is coarse it is most suitable for outerwear, upholstery fabric or rugs. Staple length, at 3-4 inches, is great for spinning yarn. The color makes it an interesting blending choice to create mixed natural color yarns.
