The Swedish bobbin winder is built to last a lifetime made of brass and steel with worm-gear construction and the highest gear ratios of any hand bobbin winder. 12:1 ratio. This thin shaft bobbin winder takes cardboard quills and Ashford Bobbins. Approximately 8" long by 3 3/4" tall.

Standard Schacht and Leclerc plastic bobbins can also be wound if you first put on a cardboard quill, making this a most versatile tool.
