Make It Quick…

You might be Toppered Out, but I can’t say enough about this hat. (and neither can anyone else!) It’s fast, it’s easy, it’s colorful, it’s WARM and the combinations of color are endless. Do you walk your dog, ski the slopes, shovel the driveway? You need this hat. Yep: Alpine Topper hat pattern. Some tips and more winter hat examples in our video.

I also need to go on and on about the  The Cuddler. Since I made Meredith one in 4 colors, she has asked for a second one and I made 3 other four-color Cuddlers as Christmas gifts. This yarn is SO soft, I haven’t had a kid complain yet. And kids just eat up the multi-colors. I shortened the side scarves to about 3 inches for a little boy to wear.

For one more quick project, take a peek at the The Encore 8-Hour Baby Blanket Revisited. The pattern takes 4 balls of Plymouth Encore Worsted Yarn. You double the yarn on a size 13 needle and before you know it, you have a blanket. If you want a washable all-wool version, use [Sorry, item discontinued or temporarily out of stock] .
