I was looking for spools that would allow me to wind off a portion of yarn from a cone, then use the cone and spooled yarns to wind a warp two threads at a time. I found cardboard spools at a very reasonable price at Halcyon. They are sturdy and will last indefinitely. I'm very happy with my purchase.
