Weavers, alternate Victorian 2-Ply warp or tabby weft with Victorian Bouclé or Victorian Brushed Mohair for pattern in overshot or summer and winter. Knitters and crocheters will love double-stranding any two Victorian styles together on size 10.5 knitting needles (size K or larger crochet hook) at 3 stitches per inch for a personalized designer bulky yarn.

Care: Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry, or dry clean. Mothproofed.

Weaving Yarn tip:

While strong enough for warp, we suggest warping Victorian Brushed Mohair alternately with a smooth yarn to reduce the natural tendency for brushed yarns to stick together - this will make both warping and weaving easier. Also consider weaving twills rather than tabby to minimize the stickiness of the yarn and give the finished fabric more body. When using brushed yarns in the weft, try ski shuttles; the yarn's fuzziness can cause bobbins to snag.

Knitting Yarn tip:

Substitute Victorian Mohair in a worsted to bulky weight pattern when warmth and fluff are what you want. Couldn't be prettier or easier. Double-strand any two Victorian styles together or with another worsted weight yarn on size 10 or 10.5 knitting needles at 3 stitches per inch for a lovely designer bulky yarn.
