Despite its name, Malabrigo Sock Yarn is so much more than just a sock yarn. This sock/fingering weight superwash is snugly plied, which gives it strength and excellent stitch definition. Finished projects hold their shape really well with this yarn, making it great for shawls and lightweight garments – especially when fancy stitches are involved. Of course, thanks to the beautiful kettle dyed goodness of Malabrigo’s yarn, even the simplest of stitches or weave patterns will be just as eye-catching. See more details below…

One skein of Malabrigo Sock Yarn is all you need to make a pair of these easy, charming Pipeline Legwarmers, with enough yarn left over for you to make them a little bit longer if so desired. These are worked in the round (I used double-pointed needles) and the spiral stitch pattern is a simple repeat that is easy to memorize. These look great with just about any outfit, a believe me I tried them out with many different ensembles. From casual to a little more dressy, boots to sneakers, pulled up or scrunched down, these legwarmers are so cute!

The Fisherman T-Shirt Pullover Sweater for Baby is another fun way to use this sturdy, soft superwash yarn. This adorable little sweater has buttons at the shoulders for easy wardrobe changes. Sized for 6 (12, 18) months, all you need is 1 (1, 2) skeins of [item=188, yarn]!
Are you a charity knitter? You might want to check out our Baby's First Hat - Fingering Weight. This hat only uses around 130 yards, making it great for sock weight left overs (just make sure they’re soft and washable!). If you’re looking to power out a handful of hats for donation, you can make three of these hats from one skein of Malabrigo Sock Yarn.
