Featured: Sock by Malabrigo
Despite its name, Malabrigo Sock Yarn is so much more than just a sock yarn. This sock/fingering weight superwash is snugly plied, which gives it strength and excellent stitch definition. Finished projects hold their shape really well with this yarn, making it great for shawls and lightweight garments – especially when fancy stitches are involved. Of course, thanks to the beautiful kettle dyed goodness of Malabrigo’s yarn, even the simplest of stitches or weave patterns will be just as eye-catching. See more details below…

Recommendations:
One skein of Malabrigo Sock Yarn is all you need to make a pair of these easy, charming Pipeline Legwarmers, with enough yarn left over for you to make them a little bit longer if so desired. These are worked in the round (I used double-pointed needles) and the spiral stitch pattern is a simple repeat that is easy to memorize. These look great with just about any outfit, a believe me I tried them out with many different ensembles. From casual to a little more dressy, boots to sneakers, pulled up or scrunched down, these legwarmers are so cute!

Another project on my never ending list of things I want to make is the Sweet Jane Tank Pattern, specifically using Malabrigo Sock Yarn. I’d love to see how the variation – tonal or multicolored – works up with the bias shaping of this simple tank.
