  Hi Mary, Thanks for your interest in the Ashford Felted Scarf kit.
  Yes – this project is totally suitable for a brand-new felter! Nuno Felting is fun and easy, and once you learn the basic technique you can create your own designs for scarves or larger pieces.
  You’ll already have most of what you need in your kitchen. The only thing not included that you may have to find is some bubble wrap, which you can get inexpensively at most shipping or office supply stores.
  The Nuno felting technique is easy to pick up and the kit has good instructions. A quick youtube search for Nuno Felt will offer some good back up if you are a visual learner. Please give us a call any time if you have additional questions.
