Having tested it out I can attest to the ease of use. The large rounded handle is easy to grasp and so much gentler on my wrist when compared to the alternative of applying pressure to bubble wrap with only my hands (such an awkward angle). I highly recommend it, especially to those of you who battle with arthritis in your hands. Demos I’ve viewed show a fairly aggressive approach right from the start. I prefer a slower process in which the pressure and vigor with which I rub is gradually increased. Experiment and see what works best for you. Use it instead of rolling, at certain stages or target a specific area. It’s also so effective in the fulling stage. Regardless of how you use it, it’s a fantastic tool you’ll love having in your felting supplies.
