Classes at Halcyon Yarn are held either in the project area of our retail shop or in our classroom studio. You have an entire warehouse of world class fiber art supplies right at your fingertips – all of which you get a class discount on! Our instructors are talented fiber artists with a passion for helping you learn new things, develop your skills, and find inspiration in your craft. We’ll be featuring bios of our instructors and their work as the season unfolds. Don’t wait though – sign up now and see for yourself!

Visiting Bath
If you’re not already a regular visitor and will be coming from farther away you are in for a treat – Bath, Maine is a fantastic summer destination!
Halcyon Yarn is conveniently located just off Route One in the Midcoast region of Maine. We’re about a half an hour from Portland or Augusta, and an hour from the Camden/Rockland area. There’s plenty of parking at the store and we’re walking distance to great restaurants, unique shops, and charming historical B&B’s. We’re also just down the road from the world-class Maine Maritime Museum on the bank of the Kennebec River. For the nature lover there are two State Park beaches less than half an hour away, several miles of land trust hiking trails right in town, and Maine’s largest dog park – right on the river!
