Thank you to Halcyon’s sister for forwarding us this amazing story! In an annual ritual, public works, festival, joining of communities in Peru, a river gorge is forded by a bridge spun and woven, by hand, from straw. Wonderful video well worth a look!
Kitty Knitty
What a great idea: A knitting circle to get cozy with animal shelter kitties! Seems like both the knitters (knitties?) and the kitties love hanging out. This shelter in PA has a room where cats who are comfortable being free-range with others can get together with knitters and their balls of yarn :-)
