I update mine every few years and because I weave projects for friends and family, I purchase and have the "stores" shipped to someone I'm am preparing to do a project for. That way, we can discuss colors in the design with both of us looking at the same thing and being certain that the finished product matches their expectations. I highly recommend the process to anyone weaving for others, especially doing projects on consignment. Because of the yarn store (among many other reasons) Halcyon Yarn will always be my first choice "go to" supplier of yarn because I can sit at home and select the colors, gauge, and quality I want and be sure of exactly what I will be getting. In all the years with all my orders, I have never received anything other than exactly what I ordered -- a very impressive record. Moreover, Halcyon Yarn carries not only an extensive selection of yarns of the highest quality, but also a great selection of tools, books, and kits. Anytime I have had to call to ask a question, I have always had the pleasure of speaking to a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable person. Halcyon Yarn will continue to be my first choice in weaving supply. The only change I would like would be if I could be informed when a sample card of yarns has either changed or is a new addition to the ones I have.
