Merino Top Wool Fiber description:
Merino, perhaps one of the finest of all sheep breeds, produces a wool fiber that is a treat to handle. Its extreme softness makes it a great choice for baby wear, as well as for any item that will be worn next to the skin. And don't forget felting. Merino produces a very firm felt that is usually very finished in appearance. Use fine gauge needles for needle felting; It's a great choice for Nuno felt and wet felting in general. 23 micron, 64's count Merino. Sourced from South Africa or South America from non-mulsed sheep.
