Our classic Waffle Weave Towels are a favorite for the holidays! Easy to weave and great to give, these thirsty cotton towels are a perfect addition to you holiday decor. But wait, what about rigid heddle? We’ve revised this popular pattern to include rigid heddle instructions using a simple pick-up stick technique.
Rigid Heddle Waffle Weave: before and after finishing (machine washed).
Whether you have a multi-shaft or a rigid heddle loom these beautiful and practical towels are a great holiday weaving project. The pattern is written to make three machine washable towels in Homestead 8/2 Cotton Yarn, including holiday versions with with just a touch of sparkle. You’ll just need a weaving width of at least 21 inches, a pick up stick or extra stick shuttle, and a 10 dent reed.
