Malabrigo Rios Superwash Merino Wool Yarn is an excellent choice medium weight projects that need to be soft and squishy, but still durable. Accessories, home decor and full garments are great in Rios, especially items for kids or that will get a lot of wear, since this yarn is a superwash. The stretchy plied construction provides a nice hand and good stitch definition. The kettle-dyed colors range from elegant tonals to the rich hand-dyed multi-colors that Malabigo fans adore!

Yarn: 100% Superwash Merino. Machine wash gentle cycle, lay flat to dry. 210 yards/100 gram skein. Made in Uruguay.

Gauge: 4.5-5.5 stitches per inch on US size 6-8 knitting needles; 2.75-2.5 sts per inch on size I-9 to K-10/5 crochet hook.

Gauge: 5-6 stitches per inch on US size 5-7 knitting needles; 2.75-2.5 sts per inch on size 7 to I-9 crochet hook. Weaving sett: 6-8 epi tabby, 8-10 epi twill.
